The San Francesco al Monte was pleased to host the 2018 edition of the "Montale Prize away from home" dedicated this year to Syria, the scene of violence and destruction. During the evening, the winner of the award, the Syrian violinist Alaa Arsheed and the pianist and President of the Résonnance Foundation Elizabeth Sombart, (to whom a special prize for the commitment shown through his music was recognized) performed their music for the guests.
